Though their roles remain under wraps, the teaser shows Khan in a sharp white suit and Dutt wielding a revolver, suggesting they play crucial parts. Leaked set images show Salman in a khaki uniform riding an auto-rickshaw—hinting at Mumbai-based scenes—while Dutt’s character seems tied to Shanghai. Initially rumoured as a Hollywood debut, the film is now confirmed to be a major Saudi production with a reported budget exceeding $40 million.

The film also stars Arab cinema icons Karim Abdel Aziz and Ahmed Ezz, who previously teamed up in the Egyptian hit Kira & El Gin. In 7 Dogs, Ezz plays Interpol officer Khalid Al-Azzazi, who captures Aziz’s character Ghali Abu Dawood, a key figure in the notorious “7 Dogs” crime syndicate.
However, a year later, the gang resurfaces with a lethal new drug called Pink Lady. Forced into an uneasy alliance, Khalid and Ghali team up to dismantle the criminal network. Their journey spans continents—from Riyadh to Mumbai to Shanghai—in a race against time.

With its blend of Arab and Indian star power and a global storyline, 7 Dogs is shaping up to be a landmark international action film. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release in late 2025.
