Golmaal FIVE will mark the reunion of Ajay Devgn with the entire cast of Arshad Warsi, Tushar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade, and Johnny Lever, among others. Over the years, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty have successfully collaborated on films like Zameen, Golmaal, Sunday, All The Best, Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, Singham, Bol Bachchan, Singham Returns, Simmba, Golmaal Again, Sooryavanshi, and Singham Again. The duo is regarded as one of the most successful partnerships in Indian Cinema, spanning decades. Now, they are all set for their 14th collaboration in 2026. According to sources close to the project, Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s next is Golmaal FIVE.
Ajay Devgn And Rohit Shetty To Begin Shooting For Golmaal FIVE
A source revealed to Pinkvilla, “Rohit Shetty is presently shooting the Rakesh Maria biopic with John Abraham in Mumbai. The film will be wrapped up by September 2025, and the filmmaker aims to finalise the edit by the end of this year, for an early 2026 release. Right after completing work on the Rakesh Maria biopic, Rohit will move on to the prep of Golmaal FIVE, and take it on floors by February/March 2026.” The source further mentioned that the basic plot of Golmaal FIVE has been finalised. The work on the screenplay is already underway.
“A fresh set of writers is working on the script of Golmaal FIVE, which is expected to be locked by September 2025, along with dialogues and polishing work,” added the source. Golmaal FIVE will reunite Ajay Devgn with the entire ensemble of Arshad Warsi, Tushar Kapoor, Kunal Kemmu, Shreyas Talpade, and Johnny Lever, among others. The comic caper is among the most beloved and successful franchises in Indian Cinema. It is scheduled to hit theatres in the first half of 2027.
Before diving into Golmaal FIVE, Ajay Devgn is expected to complete filming for Ranger, Total Dhamaal, and Drishyam 2, among other projects. The actor is also in discussions for a few upcoming films. The marketing campaign is set to kick off within the next 10 days. The makers plan a tight roll-out strategy to suit the short attention span of modern audiences.
