The playful video shows Kartik enjoying a chocolate bar, but as soon as he notices the kiss cam on him, he ducks down, throws away the chocolate, and starts lifting dumbbells to do bicep curls. On-screen text reads: “Fitness freak Kartik Aaryan caught cheating on his diet at the Coldplay concert last night.”

The original incident happened during Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour on July 16, 2025. It was at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. A couple, later identified as Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR chief Kristin Cabot, was shown on the stadium’s kiss cam mid-show. Instead of sharing a kiss, they visibly recoiled—Andy ducked, Kristin turned away. It led lead singer Chris Martin to joke on stage, “Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.” This awkward moment prompted Byron to resign as CEO.

Kartik will next star in an untitled musical romantic drama directed by Anurag Basu. It also stars Sreeleela in the lead role. Originally scheduled for Diwali 2025, the release has been delayed due to pending shoot schedules. He also has Karan Johar’s Tu Mera Main Tera Main Tera Tu, which reunites him with co-star Ananya Panday.
