The sticker indicated that Kriti has already begun preparations for her role.

Regarding the cast, Rashmika Mandanna shared a similar post on her Instagram Stories. She hid her face with a ‘Work in Progress’ caption, fueling speculation about her involvement. Reports confirm Shahid Kapoor will lead the film opposite Kriti.
About Cocktail 2
Homi Adajania is returning as director for Cocktail 2. It now features Kriti Sanon, Shahid Kapoor, and Rashmika Mandanna in key roles. The project is produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and written by Luv Ranjan. The sequel is scheduled for a theatrical release in the second half of 2026.
While plot details remain under wraps, Cocktail 2 marks the second collaboration between Kriti and Shahid after their hit Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024). Rashmika’s addition promises to inject fresh energy into the story. And fans can look forward to the chemistry among the trio.
