Amit Sial will be seen portraying Sugriv in the upcoming Ramayana adaptation. Since Nitesh Tiwari announced his ambitious, big-budget project Ramayana, it has become a hot topic, praised for its stellar cast and impressive VFX.
Amit Sial Joins Ranbir Kapoor’s Ramayana?
As reported by HT, Amit Sial has joined the cast and will be playing Sugriv, a key figure in Hindu mythology—the younger brother of Bali. Sugriv, the monkey king, played a crucial role in helping Lord Rama rescue Sita from the demon king Ravana.
A close source close to the project reveals, “Amit has shot a few portions of the film and he will be seen playing a Hindu epic mythological character, Sugriv. The actor and the director Nitesh will be working on his appearance to have authenticity to his narrative.”
“Amit is nearly at the completion of his part in the first edition of the film,” the source adds.
Amit was last seen in Raid 2, where he played the role of Lallan Sudheer, a performance that earned him much appreciation.
