The Bengal Files Song Kichudin Mone Mone Out
The first song, Kichudin Mone Mone, from Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri’s The Bengal Files is out now, and it brings a melody accompanied by truth-revealing visuals of Direct Action Day. Hard-hitting and impactful, the song perfectly captures the intensity of the film. It also presents the spine-chilling testimonies of the brutal Hindu genocides. Kichudin Mone Mone is sung and composed by Parvathy Baul and is beautifully woven into a traditional Bengali backdrop.
Sharing the song twice on their Instagram handles, the makers captioned one as, “Not just a song, but a journey through Bengal’s soul”. They captioned the other as, “Dive into the spirit of Bengal through music #KichudinMoneMone”
