Karishma Tanna On Her Bigg Boss 8 Participation
When asked if she participated in Bigg Boss because PRs said after the show you will get fame, or she was warned there will be too much exposure, Karishma Tanna clarified, “Maine woh reason se toh nahi kiya tha ki expose hote ho ya over-expose hote ho. Mujhe laga tha it’s a very tough show, and main apne aapko challenge karna chahti thi. Main isliye gayi thi. Mujhe jaana tha ki ek closed environment mein main kaise react karti hoon — am I conducting myself really well? Am I losing my head? What is it that makes it such a big deal? You know? Toh main woh reason se gayi thi. Mujhe yeh sab nahi pata tha ki aap expose ho rahe ho.”
Karishma Tanna On Bigg Boss 8
Karishma Tanna was a prominent contestant on Bigg Boss 8, where she finished as the first runner-up. Her journey on the show was marked by several controversies, including a highly publicised relationship with fellow contestant Upen Patel. She had a notable rivalry with the season’s eventual winner, Gautam Gulati. The original season 8 later merged into a spin-off called Bigg Boss Halla Bol, in which five former contestants, known as Challengers. They competed against the five finalists, called Champions, from season 8. Karishma was one of the Champions. She successfully made it to the grand finale, but she ultimately lost to Gautam Gulati.
