Dharmendra Prayer Meet: Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shabana Azmi And Other Bollywood Celebs Arrive To Offer Their Condolences – Watch

Two days after the passing of veteran actor Dharmendra, his family organised a prayer meet today at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. Veteran actress Shabana Azmi, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karan Johar and other stars arrived at the prayer meeting.

Shah Rukh Khan was spotted arriving at Dharmendra’s prayer meet in Bandra today. Khan described Dharmendra as a “father figure” to him. After Dharmendra’s passing at the age of 89, SRK visited his family to offer his condolences. He was also seen visiting Dharmendra in the hospital earlier in November.

Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan arrived at the prayer meet as well. Their car was recently spotted outside the Taj in Mumbai, where the late actor’s prayer service was being held. Abhishek had earlier attended Dharmendra’s last rites along with his father, Amitabh Bachchan, and his nephew, Agastya Nanda.

Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal were also seen arriving at the prayer meeting.

Shabana Azmi was seen arriving at Dharmendra’s prayer meet in Mumbai. The two recently shared screen space in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. They have previously collaborated in films like Khel Khilari Ka and Mardon Wali Baat.

Karan Johar and Manish Malhotra were also spotted at the venue. Actress Divya Dutta and producer Bhushan Kumar also made an appearance at the venue.

Dharmendra’s Passing Away

Dharmendra breathed his last on November 24 at his residence in Mumbai. He was later cremated at Pawan Hans. His final rites were attended by his family members and close friends from the industry, including Amitabh Bachchan, Salim Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan, among others. In the days following his cremation, several actors—including Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, and Asha Parekh—continued to visit the family home to offer condolences.

Dharmendra’s Prayer Meet

Dharmendra, renowned as Bollywood’s ‘He-Man’ and one of Hindi cinema’s most cherished stars, was cremated in Mumbai on Monday. He is survived by Hema Malini, his first wife, Prakash Kaur, and his six children — Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Esha Deol, Ahana Deol, Ajeeta, and Vijeta.

A prayer meet took place at Taj Lands End, Bandra. The family, friends, and colleagues have gathered to celebrate his life and legacy.
