Amid ED summon, Ranbir Kapoor gets mobbed by paparazzi

Actor Ranbir Kapoor never cease to impress us with his appearance in the city and today was no different. While the actor is currently in grabbing headlines for his forthcoming project Animal, he is also trapped in a legal trouble. Earlier this month, Ranbir Kapoor was summoned by Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with an online betting case. Amid this, he was spotted in the city and was seen getting mobbed paparazzi.

On 9th October, Ranbir was papped in the city as he arrived at a shoot location. The actor was reportedly shooting an advertisement. Upon his arrival, shutterbugs stationed there began capturing him. He resisted initially but then walked away inside his vanity showed a thumbs up sign. The actor was spotted in a casual black t-shirt and printed bottoms. Have a look:

This is not the first time the Brahmastra actor avoided paparazzi. Few days back, he was seen making his way to a clinic and asked paparazzi to stay out. “Andar mat aana (do not come inside),” he told the paparazzi.

About Ranbir Kapoor summon

Animal actor Ranbir Kapoor was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate on 4th October. The reason for the same is claimed to be his involvement in a betting app case. Later, it was clear that he was not summoned as an accused but for questioning regarding transactions. A source cited by a portal stated, “Ranbir Kapoor has been summoned to understand the betting business transactions. At this point, he has not been summoned as accused. His questioning is important to know his knowledge about the money sources he received. It will possibly indicate the plans of the promoters and their association” The source added, “Ranbir Kapoor may not be part of the conspiracy but very important to understand the scam”. Apart from Ranbir, actors like Shraddha Kapoor, Kapil Sharma, Huma Qureshi and Hina Khan are also summoned.

Ranbir was supposed to appear at the ED’s office in Raipur on October 6. However, owing to his prior commitments, Ranbir requested ED for one more week’ time. He is now expected to appear before the agency on October 14.

On the work front, the actor is gearing up for the release of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal which stars Rashmika Mandanna alongside him. The film is slated to release on 1st December 2023.
