Shah Rukh Khan is celebrating his 58th birthday today and he treated fans with a teaser of his upcoming movie Dunki on the special occasion. The film is directed by Rajkumar Hirani and marks the first collaboration between actor-director. As SRK turned a year older, he organized a fan meet to watch Dunki teaser live and revealed how long he has been working on the movie.
Shah Rukh Khan on Dunki
During the fan event, SRK revealed an unknown fact about Dunki shoot that left us surprised. He revealed, “We have been making Dunki for the past 2-2.5 years and today it’s first look, the Dunki Drop, was shared, we are so cool that we also now call it ‘drop’. So, Dunki drop bana chuka hai and we will keep sharing the glimpses of the film”.
At the fan event, Shah Rukh Khan shared that after Dunki Drop 1, there will be a Drop 2 and 3 as well. Sharing the thought behind the multiple teasers, the actor said, “We will show more in Drop 2 and 3. In such films, it is important…Raju sir was very clear that everyone gets to see the world of Dunki first. For now, we have shown the world of this movie. Next, we will show what I am doing, I am doing too good in this film.”
Dunki cast and release date
Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the movie also features Vicky Kaushal and Taapsee Pannu in pivotal roles. The movie is all set to release on 22nd December. To note, it will witness a clash with Prabhas starrer Salaar. For those unaware, the meaning of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki is use of illegal immigration technique of ‘donkey flught’ to enter countries like US, UK and Canada.
