Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and their daughter Raha celebrated their final Diwali at their current home in Bandra before moving into their new six-storey bungalow in Pali Hill. This festive occasion marked the last celebration at their Vastu residence. The couple prepares to settle into their newly constructed house, Krishna Raj.
Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor Set Couple Goals This Diwali
Alia shared a glimpse of their cosy Diwali festivities with her husband, daughter, and close friends. The photos captured heartfelt moments, including Alia and Ranbir dressed in festive attire. Ranbir was seen in a white kurta-pyjama, and Alia in a pink top with a mint green saree-inspired skirt.
She completed her look with minimal makeup, jewellery, and a gajra. Raha was seen adorably colouring diyas, and other photos showed family and friends. It included Shaheen Bhatt and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, celebrating together. An image showed Ranbir holding Alia from behind as they looked lovingly into the camera. Alia captioned the post, “Dillwali Diwali. Happy Diwali to you and yours.”
Alia On Moving From Vastu
In a conversation with The Times of India, Alia Bhatt got emotional about Diwali this year. She said, “This is our last Diwali in the home where she (Raha) was born. So, it’s truly an emotional moment. However, it’s also very thrilling because I realise she may not recall this particular Diwali, but the memories created will accumulate and leave an impression on her. Diwali is all about emotions; it should evoke warmth and brightness.”
She added, “This has been a long time coming, and honestly, the emotions are quite overwhelming. I feel incredibly fortunate to experience this chapter in my life. We’re amidst the chaos of moving, yet my heart is filled with joy. It’s a significant dream materialising. The magnitude of this feeling is such that I believe it will truly resonate with us months or perhaps a year after we settle in.”
Alia-Ranbir’s Upcoming Projects
On the professional front, Alia is gearing up for her action-spy film Alpha with Yash Raj Films, and she’s also part of the highly anticipated Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which stars Ranbir and Vicky Kaushal, scheduled for release in March 2026.
Ranbir’s upcoming projects include the epic Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, also featuring Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol, and Ravi Dubey. The film, produced in two parts, is set to release around Diwali 2026.
