Taking to Instagram during the early morning hours (of India), Priyanka Chopra shares 20 pictures capturing the Diwali festivities at her home in New York. Looking gorgeous in red ethnic wear suit, Priyanka wrote, “A little bit of this and so much of that. This diwali was full of heart and love. Sharing this festival with people who haven’t discovered its beauty was the highlight this year. Especially Maltis friends. Happy Diwali to everyone celebrating. May this new year bring you love, joy, prosperity, and happiness.”
The first picture in the carousel captures the ‘desi girl’ of Bollywood looking radiant as she lovingly embraces Nick, who looks dapper in a stylish white ethnic ensemble. The following picture-perfect image feature Priyanka and Nick posing with Malti, who is seen in a white frock. The carousel also includes several candid moments of the couple enjoying some joy-filled, quality time with their loved ones. A picture of Priyanka’s mother, Dr Madhu Chopra posing with family also made its cut into the celebratory post.
Malti Marie Steals Hearts In Priyanka’s Diwali Post
Priyanka Chopra Diwali photo-dump carousel also features heartwarming glimpses of Malti painting diyas with her and joining her and Nick for the Lakshmi puja. For the pooja, Malti also brought her own toy idols, adding an adorable touch to the family’s festive ritual. The carousel wraps up with a mirror selfie of Priyanka, standing on a staircase, while Nick can be seen walking up.
Some other pictures in the carousel include Malti looking into her small purse and some blurred out pictures of her friends enjoying the party.
On the professional front, Priyanka will soon be seen in The Bluff in which she plays a 19th-century Caribbean pirate. She is also working on the second season of the web series Citadel. Talking about her projects in India, Priyanka is part of SS Rajamouli’s upcoming action with Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled GlobeTrotter.
