In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Poonam Pandey reacted to being called controversy’s favourite child and opens up on if she will relaunch her app.
Poonam Pandey REACTS To Being Called Controversy’s Favourite Child
When asked her thoughts on being called controversy’s favourite child, Poonam Pandey said, “I am not. Everyone calls me this in every interview, but I am not.”
On being asked if she thinks she attracted controversies, the actress replied, “I suppose I am.” Revealing why she thinks she’s a magnet for controversies, Poonam continued, “I mean, tell me one thing that has been easy in my life. Matlab mere zinda hone se, mere marne se – tell me one thing that has gone easy in my life. There is nothing. So, 100% I attract them. Main magnet hoon controveries ke liye, like aao, mere paas aao.”
Poonam Pandey On Her App
When asked about the Poonam Pandey app that unfortunately never went live, the actress-model said, “Aree wahan pe bhi meri band baj gaye. I think I should start behaving maturely like every other human on earth. I need to stop being in that zone, I’m not in college anymore.”
Talking about why she wanted to launch The Poonam Pandey App, the actress said, “To make some money for me. That was the entire geek – to some money for me.” Revealing how she felt when the app faced a ban before it was even launched, she said, “There was nothing (in it). Matlab kyu? Kyu usko takedown kiya main abhi bhi sochti hu.”
She further revealed that she got to know her app was being taken down while en route to an event to launch it. She revealed, “I was like ‘What?!?’” When asked if she ever got to know the reason for the takedown, she replied, “Never.”
When asked if she would like to launch an app now, she replied, “No, I’ve passed all of that now.“
Poonam’s Major Controversies
Poonam Pandey has been a part of many controversies so far. It began before her debut when she said she would str*p if India won the World Cup in 2011. Her latest controversy was when she faked her death in a Cervical Cancer Awareness Campaign in 2024. She has been labelled the controversy’s favourite child.
