Kartik Aaryan Hangs Out With Black Swan Director Darren Aronofsky
After meeting Johnny Depp, aka Jack Sparrow, at the same festival in Abu Dhabi, Kartik Aaryan is now gearing up for a new project with the acclaimed director of Black Swan. Kartik posted a lively video of his meeting with Darren on Instagram, captioned “Aaryanofsky Brothers @darrenaronofsky.”
In the clip, Darren says, “My old friend Kartik, I want to say hello to all of his fans. We’re hanging out together.” The video then cuts to both doing push-ups in sync. Later, Darren shares, “You know, I’ve been to India several times, and one of my favourite actors is right here,” while Kartik adds, “We’re having a cup of chai.” The two continue to joke around as Darren comments, “I think he’s going to be a big star in India. We’re big fans in America, but I believe India will soon learn to love him.” Kartik responds playfully, “Thank you for ruining my day.”
Darren then asks Kartik if he would consider calling him to India to make a movie with lots of songs and dance. Kartik replies that a commercial, masala film would be very exciting. The video concludes with the two embracing, as Darren says, “An honour to know you.”

The star is eagerly awaiting the release of his Christmas rom-com Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri with co-star Ananya Panday. Looking ahead, he also has an untitled romantic film directed by Anurag Basu, featuring Sreeleela, along with a horror film titled Naagzilla.
