According to Pinkvilla, Karan Johar is planning to make a rom-com, involving fresh faces Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor. The said movie is being planned as a direct-to-digital project and will be produced under the digital wing, Dharmatics.
As per the portal, the movie is being directed by Shauna Gautam and it will hit the floors next year. Additionally, it says that the makers are in talks with a leading OTT portal for its streaming rights. The report added that the movie is yet to get a title. It added that the movie is planned and is suitable to be released as an OTT original. Well, given that Karan Johar has launched some of the most talented actors in the industry, the netizens cannot wait to watch the fresh pairing come up together.
As Ibrahim is yet to make his debut in the movies, Khushi Kapoor recently marked her debut with The Archies. She also received immense appreciation and love for her debut performance. After Ibrahim Ali Khan’s upcoming Sarzameen and Khushi’s The Archies, this will mark the second movie of the two respectively. The report added that the movie is in its pre-production stage currently. The makers are looking for an ensemble cast for it.
