Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer Ramleela was a humongous success when it was released in 2013. Today, the movie clocked 10 years of release and the actors have taken a trip down memory lane. They shared unseen moments from the sets and recalled how it changed their lives in many ways.
Ranveer and Deepika celebrate 10 years of Ramleela
to commemorate the 10th anniversary of their first film together, the actors shared a series of throwback pictures. It offers fans a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes moments that made the film special. In one picture, Ranveer and Deepika can be seen looking at the camera, and in the other picture, they both are smiling radiantly, appearing blissfully happy. Among the shared images, a notable photograph shed light on the challenges Deepika’s injured and blistered feet during the filming of song Nagada. The pair also shared pictures of Ranveer with Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Priyanka Chopra from the sets of the film. Sharing the pics, they wrote, “10 years of RamLeela – the one that changed our lives .. in more ways than one! (sic)”.
When Ranveer recalled recommending Deepika for Ramleela
Recently, when the couple appeared on Koffee with Karan 8, Ranveer recalled recommending Deepika for Ram Leela after Kareena Kapoor backed out. He was in awe of Deepika’s performance in Cocktail. Well, it was during the shoot of Ram Leela, romance brew between them and they started dating. Ranveer recalled, “So Ram-Leela happened and we were in this (dating phase). At one point, when I felt right I decided she was the one. So I thought before anything can happen just put a ring on it.”
Ram Leela is directed by Ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It also features Priyanka Chopra in a special song.
