Filmmaker Sriram Raghavan is bringing the most unconventional actors Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi together for his directorial venture Merry Christmas. The two have piqued fans’ excitement as this is the first time Vijay and Katrina will be seen together. As both are prolific actors, Sriram is all set to show them this unusual pairing to the audience. Vijay Sethupathi praises Katrina Kaif
The Farzi actor told Zoom TV, “It’s lovely to work with her. She is professional and very committed to her part. Sriram collected a terrific team for Merry Christmas and I can’t wait to see how the audience responds to how it has finally shaped up.”
Talking about director Sriram Raghavan, he said, “I always felt I should make the transition from the South to Hindi cinema with a director as sorted as Sriram Raghavan. H makes the whole experience of working so easy for an actor. Working with Sriram was a learning experience. I was comfortable throughout. Shooting with Sriram Raghavan is a rewarding experience. He knows what he wants and how to get it out of his actors. The plot of Merry Christmas is unlike anything I’ve done so far.”
Sethupathi actor further added, “Sriram is always known to venture into forbidden territory and is bringing Kaif and Sethupathi together. Audiences will love the combination.”
Merry Christmas revolves around one night. The movie’s release date is January 12.
