Even Google is now celebrating the release of ‘Jawan’ along with Shah Rukh Khan fans. Don’t believe us? The all-new Jawan Easter Eggs are the proof. For the unversed, Google has added Easter eggs into many of its products and services even before. Easter eggs are hidden features inserted into media. On searching ‘Jawan’, the action triggers the appearance of a walkie-talkie on the screen. If the users tap on the icon, SRK would answer by saying, “Ready” in his signature charismatic style. Make sure to keep your volume up!

Users are treated with a delightful experience as the browser gets all bandaged up as you speak with your favourite star. Impressive, isn’t it? Well, Shah Rukh Khan himself found it amazing and posted about it on the social media platform X. “Jawan ko Google par bhi dhoondh lo aur theatres mein bhi! It’s so much fun…to see the bandages when I don’t have to tie them on my face,” he informed in his witty post.

“lol if you search “jawan” on google, then a smol walkie talkie appears. and if you press that, srk says “ready” & your browser page gets bandaged up,” wrote ‘X’ user Pramit as he shared his excitement for the film.

“This is so cool… Never before anything like this for a Bollywood film… really cool,” wrote a user on X. Another user wrote, “What a stress reliever…trying to cover the whole screen with the bandages. I’m at peace, now.”

The interactive feature perfectly captures the essence of SRK’s new film, which promises to be an exciting and engaging cinematic experience, especially for the mass audience. Google’s creative and engaging feature offers a taste of the excitement and anticipation around Jawan. It’s a reminder that, even in the digital age, the world of cinema can still captivate our minds & imagination and make us feel like we’re part of the action. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’ has taken a flying start at the box office. The Atlee-directed film minted  ₹75 crore in India on its opening day. The film is SRK’s second box office success this year, following ‘Pathaan’ in January.

Google enabled its ‘Easter Eggs’ feature for the first time during the release of Barbie for the page of Greta Gerwig, Margot Robbie, and Ryan Gosling. When users typed, “Greta Gerwig,” “Margot Robbie,” and “Ryan Gosling,” they would see the screen turning pink and all sparkly. Pink confetti-like pieces formed on the screen and then became bigger. It was introduced as a special feature paying homage to the movie.

Another instance of a Google Easter Egg feature related to films is runners appearing on the top of the screen when you look up ‘Forrest Gump’ on the search engine.

Just some time back, Google gave a special reference to the F.R.I.E.N.D.S cast, celebrating the show’s 25th anniversary. When people type the names of the main characters on Google, they see a specialised icon just below their name on the right-hand corner of their screen. For instance, there was a sofa set for Ross, a bucket and mop for Monica, a wig for Rachel, pizza for Joey, a reclining sofa for Chandler, and a guitar for Phoebe.
